For quite a while now, I have been wanting to change my email address for practical reasons among others. Honestly, a screen name you chose when you were barely 14 years old is not going to be taken seriously by anyone, including yourself, 6 years later.
Ironically, practicality is the very reason I have hesitated in making this switch for such a long time. An email address is as important as your physical address today. With a thousand and one things linked to this address, and you are bound to lose things with the migration.
Yet a new email address is just like a brand new house. You get a chance to set things right, an excuse to throw away things you no longer fancy and start with a clean fresh slate.
Alas, I have decided to take the plunge. Adding everyone again to msn is a pain, but it gave me the chance to weed out people I never talk to or decide not to talk to.
If you are important enough, I would have already added you. If not, I probably missed you out either carelessly or consciously.
I finally ran the sundown 2 weekends ago. It was a fun experience, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I finished the race with a timing of 6:09:17.20, ranked 1781/3827
I would like to extend my appreciation to the following people:
CASPER! Thanks for signing up for the race with me and running with me (although I pangsei-ed you for like 3/4 of the race).
That 6hour pacer. Thanks for giving me the push I needed for the final 8km or so.
All the volunteers at the aid stations. Couldn't have survived without your water, 100plus banana and counterpain! Especially the guy who managed to squeeze out that little bit of counterpain from the empty tube. It really helpped me lots!
All the random people I met and talked to during the race. Be it when running or stretching at the road side or providing music from your speakers, you guys added some colour to the otherwise dull night run.
